Fred Hudson’s Biography
Frederick Hudson is employed by the US Department of Justice as the Law Enforcement Coordinator and
District Program Manager for the US Attorney’s office for the Western District of North Carolina He has
been with the US Attorneys office since 1992 when he started as a student.
As the Law Enforcement Coordinator Fred is responsible for implementation of Attorney General
priorities, collaborations between federal state and local law enforcement, law enforcement training,
federal grants and initiating Department of Justice policies and procedures and a host of programs
designed to create safer communities and reduce crime.
Fred earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Queens University and currently serves on the Dept. of Justice External Working Group, Community Advisory Board of the Junior League ofCharlotte, Chairs the Project Safe Neighborhoods Task Force, served on the Governors Gang TaskForce, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools African American Males Task Force and served as the Board Chair of New Life Christian Academy.
